I have been to Egypt twice, and am shortly going for my third visit. On both occasions that I have been there, I have stayed in the Mercure Coralia hotel,Luxor, often locally referred to as the Etap. Centrally located opposite the Nile and ajoined by bazaars, the hotel is the perfect base for exploring the many wonderous sights of Egypt. With over 300 rooms in either the main building or garden courtyard, it is a large hotel but despite the size and number of guests, the service is second to none.
