Advantages: Prime location

Disadvantages: Need more English TV channels

The Meteor Plaza Prague is a hotel I would recommend to anyone that is visiting the beautiful city of Prague.
Weather it is for a long pleasurable holiday or for just a brief business venture. The hotel is located in a prime position in the centre of Prague and makes it very easier for travelling around the city. You can access most of the stunning famous sights via foot from this location including restaurants and many gift shops.

Checking in to the hotel was very swift and luckily for us our room was ready 4 hours before it should have been. Many hotels would have made you wait but we were handed our room passes straight away.

The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful also, The room we stayed in was quite cold and I phoned down to ask for a solution to this, a very nice member of staff gave us a radiator for the stay without a problem which really helped.

The hotel was established in 1300 and has kept the classic vintage feel with a nice updated twist which compliments the layout and design of the rooms perfectly. We stayed in a double room and found it to be perfect for the stay, a very comfy bed and firm sleeping pillows which were well needed after a long day of sight seeing.

Also included was a free kettle, selection of hot drinks and mini bar if you prefer something a little stronger. The room also had a TV but only Sky news and CNN were in English. Some pay per view films were also on offer and adult entertainment if u desired.
Another great feature was the free wifi service which was very easy to connect to. The bathroom was very clean and quite spacious with fresh towels everyday. Only downside to the bathroom was the shower which was quite small, but this wasn't to much of a problem.

A free continental buffet style breakfast was served every morning between 7-10, a selection of cheeses, bread, preserves and hot full English style food was on offer. Fruit and cereal were also available, with a selection of juices and coffee.
I had no problems with the buffet selection but im not sure if it would be suitable for everyone.

The hotel also has a lovely wine cellar bar which oozes character, and a very welcoming coffee/bar in the foyay area. Drinks were very reasonable and staff were also very friendly. Food was also on offer, from pasta to steak. Ranging from £10-£20 for a meal.

My conclusion for the Meteor Plaza is that I found it to be very welcoming and a lovely place to stay, a relaxing environment.
To stay at the hotel also is very affordable and special offers can be found on Expedia.com

Summary: Very affordable hotel in a magical city
