Advantages: everything you need without having to go outside

Disadvantages: very hot

We got married here at the MGM Grand in 2003. First time to Las Vegas and we stayed here for one week. This hotel is huge approx 30 floors of various types of rooms - Can't remember the name of the one we stayed at but it was second up on the price scale. It was a fantastic room, a huge bed which was four pillows wide all the usual you would find in a hotel room but also a chaise lounge and sitting area. The bathroom was fantastic - all marble and very luxurious. The wedding chapel was fantastic before arriving I had made several telephone calls to them to organise the wedding and when we arrived everything was as we wanted. On the day I spent the morning in the hair and make up salon - very expensive but well worth the money. I felt a million dollars! I also visited the health spa and we ate at many of the restaurants including my favourite - Emerils. The pool area was great as well although we could only stay out for a very short while and we had to be outside and back in again by noon as it was so hot - remember this was only march!. The casino area was a real experience too. We did gamble but nothing compared to the amounts we saw many poeple lose. A great time and we hope to return again one day. I would recommend this hotel
