They say if you're visiting Las Vegas bring some comfortable walking shoes for the seemingly endless walks between the casinos. If you're staying at the MGM Grand bring an extra pair, you'll need them if your room is some way down those huge corridors. Location wise its not too far from the airport (no noticable noise in the ... Read the complete review

I am surprised by how complimentary many of the reviewers are on this site about the MGM Grand. I can only presume they are easily pleased. You should look on Tripadvisor for a better balance of views. My initial experience was a 40 minute queue, which is never welcome after a transatlantic flight. Then my experience was as follows ... No trip to Vegas is complete without a visit to the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino! I visited Las Vegas last year for 10 days whilst tripping round the U.S. with my folks and spent those 10 unforgetable days at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino which was a bit of a surprise to me to say the least! Now I was only 17 at the time of my ... Read the complete review

A trip to Las Vegas was a dream that came true for my boyfriend's 30th birthday, this was his dream holiday and staying in his dream hotel at the MGM Grand was perfect for him. We've heard many stories from friends who stayed at the MGM Grand prior to our visit stating that it was absolutely great and a brilliant experience. When we ... Read the complete review

We got married here at the MGM Grand in 2003. First time to Las Vegas and we stayed here for one week. This hotel is huge approx 30 floors of various types of rooms - Can't remember the name of the one we stayed at but it was second up on the price scale. It was a fantastic room, a huge bed which was four pillows wide all the usual you would ... Read the complete review

I stayed at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas for 3 nights and 4 days in August 2008 and can honestly say I had a great time. Please let me warn you that this is a fairly lengthy review of my experience. We got a taxi from the airport to the hotel which cost about $7 which works out at less than £4. The first thing you notice about stepping ... Read the complete review

My husband and I have just gotten back from a trip to Las Vegas and chose the MGM hotel to stay at so this forms my review. The MGM is located right on the strip (Las Vegas Boulevard) right by Tropicana Avenue so fairly near one end of the strip. It is located close to the New York New York hotel and there is actually a walkway which joins ... Read the complete review

We stopped at the MGM in June 2004 for 3 nights - it wasn't long enough & we very impressed. My other half wasn't keen on going to Vegas, but as it was a mates wedding out there, we had to go.... so, she insisted that we stay at a 'nice hotel' hence the MGM However, for nice, don't read expensive - we paid £237 ... I got engaged at the MGM Grand last June: 1st point, Don't go to Las Vegas in June! It was extremely hot, too hot to walk the strip during the day so we spent our hours in the hotel itself. The thing about the MGM is that you can spend a day in there and you can get lost in there! It's absolutely massive and with the ground floor ... Read the complete review

Visited Vegas for the first time back in December 2000 and had the pleasure of staying at the MGM Grand. After having visited most of the other hotels on the strip, I must say that with the MGM Grand you've got it all and a whole lot more. This is the largest hotel in the world with a casino the size of two football pitches. (but ... Read the complete review

I travelled to Las Vegas in October 2000.We drove from L.A, which took about 5 hours.Once you arrive in Las Vegas you will need to rub your eyes, what a picture!!!.I suggest a drive down "The Strip" straight away so you know what to look forward too and which places you want to go first ....but be warned traffic can be very busy. The Worlds Largest Hotel & Resort (at the moment) with over 5,000 Rooms , Standard , Deluxe and then out of my price range. The Hotel is amazing and kids would go wild to stay here.
