For a hotel right in the middle of things you couldn't do better than the Millennium on Broadway.

Our room, on the 47th floor was further from the lobby than from the lobby to Times Square.

A four star hotel, with all the trimmings one would expect from one, it is part of the Copthorne Group. The service was excellent and the staff couldn't do more to help, from advice on the nicest parts of Central Park to getting the timings right for the transfer back to the airport.

If there is one thing that the hotel could do better it would be to arrange its own transfers. It doesn't currently but, according to the concierge, it is on the cards.
