Moon Palace Resort & Spa Hotel (Cancun)

After searching for a very long time for our perfect honeymoon our travel agent eventually pointed us in the direction of Cancun and more specifically the lush Moon Palace hotel. We were duly married on 2 June 2007 and the folloowing Tuesday jetted off from Manchester airport. The flight to Cancun is approximately 11 hours and we were very glad we upgraded our flights so we were more comfortable on such a long journey. We went to the Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort in Cancun, Mexico for two weeks from 29th Jan 2007. We only booked it about two weeks before hand so we got a very good deal. We knew someone who had been to the resort many years ago, and it sounded so wonderful that it was on our list of places we would like to go if we could afford it. Back in 2004 some good friends of ours announced their engagement and also wedding plans and said they were planning on getting married in September 2007 in Cancun, Mexico. “But that’s 3 ½ years away – it’ll never last”.
