... all major attractions, just near Grand Central Station. The restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced not cheap but not outrageously expensive either. Harrys Bar in the lobby was pleasant and we tried their legandary martinin's which were pricey but strong!! Word of warning the Taxi drivers are all mad and drive like idiots, don't think twice about getting into road rage situations with or without passengers. one of ours started racing and trying to cut someone up, SCARY. I have just returned from a long weekend at the Helmsley NY and I was impressed, I managed to book it at a bargain price via , the net. We paid equivalent of £100 per night for the room for a 4 star hotel this is very good value. The hotel was clean and friendly. The location is good and quite near to all major attractions, just near Grand Central Station. The restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced not cheap but not outrageously expensive either. Harrys Bar in the lobby was pleasant and we tried their legandary martinin's which were pricey but strong!!
