lulu984 Las Vegas Flamingo Hilton: ... went to Vegas for two weeks in September 2009. The first week me and my other half stayed in the luxury of The Mirage and in the second week we moved to The Flamingo - seeing as we had booked some good deals. Ok, I will be the first to admit that I didn t want to leave The Mirage, as I had fallen completely in love with it. However I was excited to be staying in a different type of hotel. I imagined the Flamingo to...

lulu984 The Mirage
... was a Vegas virgin until September 2009. Me and my other half packed our suitcases and headed off for two full weeks in the sun. As our flight was a long one (8 hours, 4 hour stop off in Atlanta and then another 4 hours back on a plane), however it flew by as we were so excited. We caught a taxi and he took us the scenic route until we arrived at The Mirage. The heat certainly hits you as soon as you re outside - and this was 11pm! On arrival the staff could not have been more helpful. A nice young man offered to help with our bags and pointed us in the right direction. We stepped inside and the air conditioning was most welcome! When checking in, there wasn t much o...

iallan The Shore Club Hotel Miami Beach
... visited the Shore Club in Miami Beach about a couple of years ago, i had read so much about it and my friends and I decided to take a week long break for some relaxing to Miami Beach we pushed the boat out and picked the Shore Club as our hotel. Now only had we read the tripadvisor reviews at that time and we may have rethought our hotel destination. We eventually got to Miami after lengthy delays due to the weather and the flight being rerouted all over the east coast of america to avoid the storms - not the best start to the holiday so we arrived late at the hotel (much later than we were expected) only to be told by a very rude receptionist that our room wasn t read...

TheWeaver Treasure Island Hotel & Casino
... m probably not the best person to review a Casino, but for any other novices out there this might help! Compared to other casinos in Vegas i felt a lot more comfortable in this one, mainly because it s cheap, tacky and therefore less, what s the word...pressurising? than your Bellagios or MGMs. My gambling skill and knowledge is about the same as my ability to divide 1453 by 17 in my head. I just look stupid. So i stuck to the slots and lost my money that way but at least didn t make a public fool of myself. The hot waitresses will bring you drinks to your machine, which technically are free, but you re supposed to tip the waitress in return. Another thing you may want ...
