Amsterdam is a must for everyone (Novotel Hotel Amsterdam)

In My recent Stay to Amsterdam, A Friend and I stayed in this hotel , We had stay'd in novell hotels before and we know what we like..

Location
The location is great , it takes around 10 minutes by tram or train to get to the Airport or into the city centre of Amsterdam and it was very easy to find!

Check in
The check in area was only temp as they where extending the hotel but It was still nice , everyday they had a bowl of goodies on the counter for guest's to take . The staff where friendly but to be honest it's hard not to find friendly people in Amsterdam!!

The room
The room was big and clean , there was a minibar which is a must , a bed , TV a couch and a desk and of course a en-suite bathroom with free shampoo's! it was a very comftable stay.

Room service
onl used it once , it was ok , the lady who brough us our food would'nt take my tip as she said it was too much , I didn't think 10 euro was alot but then I don't understand the value of a euro.

downsides
the building work waking us up each mornin there was a sign that said it would start at 8 but it started around 6 - 7 but on the upside they where building a pool for our next visit.

Price.
my friend and I booked it thought expadia.com when they had a sale on so we only paid £200 for the 3 nights but you have to pay city tax on depature

overall?
I'd stay here again yes and I feel it was good value for money!
