Oasis Atlantic Hotel (Canico, Madeira)

I have had some dreadful hotel experiences in my time - the selection of the hotel always has some element of holiday-Russian-roulette to it in my experience, since the pictures they show you of the rooms - certainly on the intenet rarely - if ever - bear the slightest resemblance to where you'll actually end up staying. Let me say unequivocally that this was not the case with the Oasis Atlantic, which completely exceeded all expectations, and without a doubt is one of the nicest hotels of this type that I've ever stayed in.
