... our room was a cheap £60 twin. When we opened our door, nothing could prepare us for the view, we were literally in front of the opera house. Some of the furnishings were a bit dated in the room, as were the fittings in the bathroom but it was clean and the surrounding area more than made up for this. Also, the rooms are massive! Stayed here for 2 nights in April. There are mixed reviews on the Holiday Inn and I was a bit nervous about staying here. Upon arriving early, the hotel stored our bags and offered to ring me when the room was ready. I politely asked if we could have a room with a view, but this was not expected as we hadn't paid extra for this and our room was a cheap £60 twin.
