 ... block was also refurbished, I think also last year, so everything is pretty new. The hotel is a two minute walk from the main road, and about five minutes from the beach. The main entrance to the hotel is on the side of the older block, from the street it's quite inconspicuous and is actually much larger than it looks. The resort of Calis is in SW Turkey, in the region of Fethiye. The town of Fethiye (pronounced fet-ee-ay) is 2 miles away. Calis is 38 miles east of Dalaman airport. We have stayed in Calis twice before but decided to be a bit more adventurous this year and try a different hotel. We looked at the First Choice website and found three hotels in the resort. One we disregarded as we knew it was on the main road (we had walked past it many times), the second we decided from the description was too near the beach front (we did look for it when we were there, but never actually found it), the third was the Oykun Hotel.
