Advantages: Excellent location, inexpensive

Disadvantages: Unclean and dusty!

We visited San Francisco last November and stayed for 15 nights in the Pacific Heights Inn on Union Street. It is a well situated motel, on a quiet corner of Union and Van Ness. Unfortunately the room we stayed in only had two windows, one looking onto a brick wall and the other looking out onto a dumpster! The walls were dirty, dusty and the ceiling had a few cobwebs.....the kitchenette was quite grubby too. Having said that, the motel has an excellent safe location, right on the MUNI bus route, a short walk to fine dining and shopping, and was very cheap. An OK motel if you don't mind cobwebs and dust....
