Intro
------
The Pefkos Village Hotel is a fairly small complex of apartments located in Pefkos, on the Eastern side of Rhodes. The hotel caters for a wide variety of different group sizes, offering a number of different sized rooms for different groups and budgets.

The hotel is part of the Thomas Cook group and therefore can be booked directly through them at one of their stores, or online. Alternatively, there is the option to book directly with the hotel, but obviously this makes the 1.5hr trip from the airport slightly tricky.


Facilities

The hotel has a really wide variety of great facilities. Firstly, the pool is absolutely exquisite. As you can see from the photos, it is surrounded by lovely sunbeds, and this makes a great base for a relaxing holiday.

There is also a pool table, a childs play area, and a really well catered pool bar, meaning that you are never far away from something with which to entertain yourself while your back at the hotel.

There is also a restaurant, and while i did not eat there, i heard nothing but very good reviews about it.


Rooms

This was the major highlight of this hotel. The room size and standard is far beyond anything that I have ever seen in Greece before. All the rooms are very plush and modern, and in our basic 1 bed flat we had all the mod cons.

In the kitchen/lounge you find a well-equipped kitchen area with all your sinks, pans and cooking equipment, along with a large tv with sky!

In the bedroom there is a massive double bed and wardrobes. There is also a massive mirror and dressing table for getting ready.

Finally the bathroom has both a bath and a shower, and is very clean and modern, with beautiful tiling across the room.


Location
----------
The hotel is not located directly in Pefki, making it a 10-15 minute journey into town. However, this really did not concern my girlfriend and I, as it was nice to be able to get away from it all.
