Advantages: Location in downtown, low prices

Disadvantages: It is not a fancy hotel with lots of features like you will find else where

I have stayed here for the last 2 years and plan on staying here again soon.

When you check in, simply go to the hotel check in, tell them your name and show your credit card and you are in. Also, while you are checking out here web site, they go into more detail about their casino, restaurants, and live entertainment they have at the Plaza.

Once you get to the room you will fine a very simple room The room is a decent room. Nothing fancy at all! Just the bed, bathroom and tv. Usually, this is a lower priced hotel, so don't expect anything fancy like you might find at the strip hotels. The average room I have had the last 2 times is very basic.

The main reason I like this hotel so much is because of the low price and the location on Freemont Street. During the day you can visit the Strip, just 5-10 minutes away, and in the evening you can park back at the hotel and visit the Freemont Street Experience. There's plenty of entertainment, excitement and good food all in walking distance from your hotel.

Overall, I recommend this hotel if you are looking for a cheap place to sleep. If you want a fancy hotel with lots of amenities, this is not for you. Please read that last sentence again! This is not a fancy hotel.

Summary: This is a good hotel!

I've never been able to drive from Fremont Street to the Strip in 5-10 minutes - even if I take Industrial Road there's snarl-ups at Charleston.
