I have just returned from Prague after a weekend away with four friends and had a lovely time, made even better by the gorgeous apartment we stayed in. We stayed in the old town, which is a fantastic location, close to the city centre a beautiful place with cobbled streets and old historical buildings.

The apartment itself was so much more than we imagined. It was huge and a very high quality place. It had three double bedrooms, (I say double but they had kingsize beds and the rooms were masive so bigger than a double really) 2 bathrooms, 1 toilet, a large sitting room and large kitchen complete with inning table.

The decoration was of a very high quality with art deco designs, large artwork on the walls and stylish furnature, even a big flat screen TV. There were three balconys overlooking the streets and the apartment was so quiet inside despite havng a main road on one side.

The apartment cost us £70 each for 3 nights which I thought was a good price for the quality of the apartment. We booked before the pound lost value so it would have been even cheaper if we'd paid up front.

It's so nice to have an apartment instead of a hotel room. I recommend it. Although, you need a fairly large group to make the price worth your while.

Summary: better than a hotel
