Advantages: Close to centrall Helsinki

Disadvantages: Poor parking

The Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel is situated in the heart of Helsinki. About a 5 min walk from the central station. Parking is a bit of a problem. There are parking meters on the street outside but so few it's often hard to find a place to park. It's also not financially practical to park there for the duration of your stay. Having said that the hotel itself is a wonderful place to stay. Convieniently close to the station and the nightlife. Helsinki's Casino is about 2 minutes walk and there are any number of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. Despite being so close to the nightlife it doesn't disturb your night if you have decided to turn in early.

The beds are great. I have stayed here on a number of occasions and every time the king size memory foam matress has given me a great nights sleep.
The rooms are well decorated and very comfortable.

Breakfast is served in the Hotel's own restaurant and is buffet style. Very well cooked with a very good choice. I've not eaten in the Hotel restaurant in the evening but I am reliably informed by friends that it is very good.

Every time I have stayed here I have enjoyed my stay. Reasonable rates, great nights sleep and so convienient to see Helsinki, if your visiting the finnish capital this is certainly a great place to use as a base.
