Ramada Hotel in GeneralNewest Review: ... staff are invariably well-trained and courteous, the only variations being observance of local customs and values, such as Thais bowing and greeting guests with the traditional idiom. They are also very helpful, and cut across the cultural divide with common themes of politeness and attention to detail. I have found the dining rooms to be uniformly clean, well-appointed and with good views where local planning allows. The food is excellent, and is generally a pleasing mix of local and traditional dishes complimented by those manifestations of globalisation, full English and American breakfasts. On the whole, this arrangement works quite we... more |

I've stayed with Ramada in the UK, Europe, and the Far East. By and large, I've found them to be excellent value for money. The rooms are always clean and tidy, if lacking in some luxuries. but, you generally get what you pay for with Ramada. I stayed in the Ramada Hotel in Belfast and I must say that the experiance had its flaws and its charms. I normally stay in the Hilton or the Europa in Belfast if I ever decide to stay but because of the busy Valintines Day period I was unable to book a room in either of these hotels so I then decided to book a room with the Ramada. The price of this hotel was reasonable, at £79 a night, I think that this is a great price for a hotel of this standard because compared to the Hilton thats rooms can cost up to £125 a night for a twin room this is a great price for a Friday night, though the Travel Lodge probably would have been cheaper if you decide to go away ... The first time and only time when I stay in Ramada hotel was in Germany, in very little town Lampertheim. The cost of the room is not very expensive and you have all the luxury you need. Our room was really nice decorated and I feel really good in it. The bathroom was clean and had all appliances you might need and also the small travel packages of shampoo, conditioner and lotion. The only one thing I didn't like after entering to room was heavy smoke smell. Of course it was room for smokers, but I think with today products, they could do something with that smell, so after you enter to the room, nothing will hit you. I really like the desk clerk there. the ... Read the complete review

Ramada are a large hotel franchise organisation. they have many Ramada Hotels in North America and across the world. In England they are called Ramada Jarvis. They are part of a very large conglomerate called Wyndham Worldwide who also own Travelodge, Amerihost, Super 8 and Days Inn among others. The Ramada brand offers a good standard of hotel on the whole; only some are excellent though their quality control is usually good enough to expect at least a reasonable standard; beds are always clean (in my experience) rooms pleasant and bathrooms modern. Some standardised features can be a little annoying. Every breakfast seems quite similar and it might be nice ... Read the complete review
