Advantages: clean, tidy and right on a brilliant beach

Disadvantages: prices of drinks, large hotel but some people might prefer this

I visited Crete this year and after a good serveral hours of research we decided to settle for this hotel. mainly because there were very few reviews about it, Now this usually means it not brilliant enough to write a review but its not so terrible that you need to warn people not to go.

The hotel is quite a large hotel, I usually prefer the smaller hotels becasue the owners usualy make an effort to get to know you and make it there personal task to ensure you have a good day. However, the size wasnt a problem and all staff were friendly.

My first impression of the hotel was very clean and tidy, very nice appearance and staff seemed quite friendly. We checked in and were given our key and very brief intruction on how to find our room. Now the hotel is split on two size, they have one building next to the beach, where the reception is and then a second building right across the road next to the pool. To get to the second building you need to use an underpass which goes underneath the road. This is not a problem unless you have your suitcases which means carrrying them down a set a stairs and then up a set of stairs. I felt they shoudl have offered to show us the room as it took us a while to find it and it was an annoyance having to wonder around with our cases.

The rooms are lovely, there's nothing to compain about with the rooms at all. Decent size rooms very clean and cleaned every day, bathrooms were spotless and there was a nice sized balcony. The room had a pool view and a fridge which is very useful although turns off when you leave the room. Overall the rooms were very nice.

The food was nice, everyone was either half board or all inclusive and so it was a buffet style and there was usually a good selection. However, they priced the drinks way too high and some evenings it may have been cheaper to have our meal somewhere else as the drinks were so over priced.

The hotel was right on the beach and the water was crystal clear and the sand was golden!

Overall a pretty good choice of hotel.
