Advantages: Close to beach, nice food, good entertainment

I stayed in the Sirenis Seaview Country Club last year with my partner and children. I found the hotel to be very family orientated with plenty to do and to keep the children occupied.

Check in was quick and easy and we were provided with key cards which also act as your tab card so that you can charge items to your room and just be billed for it at the end of your stay. The procedure was explained to us on check in and we were given directions for our room.

We had chosen the half board option and because of this the kitchen in our room had a partition pulled across it which had been locked. Im not sure why there was a need for this as it would have been very convenient to have these facilities as well to prepare lunch or extra snacks so I dont see what harm it would have done. The room was large enough for us all with a large double bed and a large sofa bed. The room was clean and tidy. Nothing amazing but was clean, comfortable and had basic decor which seems to be the same in most sirenis resorts.

The beach is a short walk away and there are some shops and a bus stop just across the road. The bus takes you into San Antonio and I think it was about Euro2 each but cant remember exactly.

The food was very nice, it all seemed a bit too much of the same stuff by the third night. It was enjoyable though, but could have done with a bit more variation.

The outdoor pool was very large but wasnt heated so I never actually found it to be very comfortable to be in there as it always felt way too cold, which was quite a disappointment.

The entertainment programme was very good and there was plenty to keep people of all ages occupied. The entertainers were very good and it was nice to be able to enjoy a show in the evening.

Overall it is a great family hotel and I hope to be returning here again in the future.
