Advantages: Great service provided

Disadvantages: Price maybe?

The Sequoia Lodge Hotel in Disneyland Paris is a 3 key rated (out of 4 keys) hotel in the Disneyland Paris hotels list, the actual hotel is located outside Lake Disney and is really close to all the fun around the Disney Village (about a 5 mintue walk).

When I arrived at this hotel on the shuttle bus to Disney from the Charles De Gaull Airport my first instinct was that the hotel was clean and tidy and seemed to have a lot of helpful staff walking around it, I also noticed the Disney Shop in the hotel (which is standard to all hotels though is very handy for picking up last minute presents and memorabilia, and also for getting the odd snack e..g. crisps and sweets and juice to bring back to your room, though the shop is quite expensive). Checking in with this hotel was quick and painless, there were a good number of staff at the check in stand to help the bus loads of people arriving check in as quickly as possible, around 15 minutes later we set off to fund our room.

The Sequoia Lodge is a Woodland themed rustic hotel with a real cabin feel about it, around the hotel there are lots of trees and woodland planted that is relaxing to walk around if you like nature.

The corridors in this hotel (though not important) were very clean and the carpet seemed new (well not completly worn out and dodgey looking). When we got to our room we noticed that there were two double beds that were decently sized, tv with some international english speaking channels on it, as well as all sorts of other languages and Disney Channel in LOADS of languages, the bathroom was nice and clean and there were Disney Themed soaps provided, a shower, a bath, a large sink with a large mirror and the toilet was very clean, there was also a welcome gift that was a Disney cup with some Disney sweets inside it in a nice package. The room all together was lovely.

Prices of the Sequoia Lodge vary depending on the time of year, at peak season 3 nights and 4 days could cost anything up to £700 or more for two people staying and at cheaper times of the year the price can drop to £350 for two people staying.

Park tickets that include fast passes and continental breakfast (delicious buffet of bread and cheese and ham, coffee, yogarts, etc, that is all you can eat!) are also included in the quoted price of the room.

There is an outdoor and an indoor swimming pool in this hotel, the swimming pool looked busy though clean and the out and indoor pools were attached together as one, there was a childrens slide in the indoor pool that looked really fun for the kids that were playing on it while their mum and dad were taking a rest from the busy park.

There is also a sauna room, games room, restaurant, bar, steam bath and fitness room available in this hotel, night time entertainment also goes on some nights in the hotel.

Overall I really enjoyed my stay in this Disney Hotel and I plan to stay again this year.

My family stayed in the Santa Fe one (aka the cheap one). I loved it. Good review. I think we exhausted the park though. Next time I'm aiming for Disneyland Florida Animal Kingdom Lodge! ^_^ So I wish...
