The overhead shower in the bath was extremely powerful and very refreshing, given that the outside temperature was 30 degrees centigrade. The air conditioning in the room was by the sofa. It was effective if sat close to it, however the bed was over the other side of the room, meaning that at night it could get rather warm. My husband & I stayed at the Sheraton Brussels for 3 nights in June. We had booked the hotel through Hotwire using vouchers. The hotel was really easy to find and is almost directly opposite the Rogier metro station. The building is a 30 odd storey tower made of concrete, the outside isn't particularly attractive, however once inside the lobby / reception area the decor is very nice. Our room, on the 7th floor, was very basic. The bed was a king-size, there was a TV (which we didn't use), a sofa, desk and built in wardrobes. Apologies for the inevitable dooyoo lowercase problems!!! Mothering Sunday, 2004, was approaching and the 2½-year-old baby Josh nudged his proud father and suggested taking Amanda away for the weekend, which seemed like a great treat. Believe that if you will, but a bit of rather crafty pre-planning on my own part meant that I just happened to have a pair of cheap ?Eurostar? tickets to Brussels already sorted out and I pointed my web browser in the general direction of ?Priceline?, looking for a decent hotel.
