Advantages: Central

Disadvantages: Small rooms

I stayed here for 1 night on the way back from visiting friends in the netherlands.
I picked it because its very central which was good and i also got a good deal through airmiles which was quite good.

The room itself was very small and slightly oddly shaped partially due to the hotel being in an old traditional amsterdam building.

It had a tv and comfy bed and a very nice bathroom but I was alone not sure if the double rooms are bigger but there wouldn't have been a lot of space for 2 people + bags!!

Location - its walking distance from the trainstation, the main shopping area and you can walk to all the major attractions very easily.

Food - I only had breakfast in the hotel which was fine nothing special but absolutely fine.

Service - the staff in the hotel were very friendly and met all of my requests including providing a good map and pointing out all of the attractions and how you should get to them.

After a couple of days of walking lots I bought a multi trip ticket for the trams which was very quick and relatively easy to use to travel to some of the slightly fruther out attractions such as Van gohs museum etc.

overall - good hotel and would stay again if i got a good price!

Summary: Good for a short stay

Could you add price and say a bit more about location, breakfast, etc? Was breakfast self-service or buffet? What time was it available until? Was food available at other times?
