Horrible... refurbed... and now GORGEOUS! (Sol Guadalupe Hotel)

I went back to spain this summer and stayed in the Guadalupe Hotel; I have to say i was impressed! Having worked in the area over summers I have been in the vast majority of the local hotels if only to use their sunbeds (!) and i booked the guadalupe with some trepidation, it is known to be anti-english, full of german holidaymakers who (for very sensible reasons!) dont like and complain about the typical magaluf holiday maker - this year, all changed!! They seem to have gone more upmarket and trendy - the entire pool has been rebuilt and it is now wide, slopping and has lovely wooden sun loungers and best of all, bans lilos in the adult pool... the kids pool is fun galore with slides, games and lots of inflatables (and also supervised now). the inside foyer is excellent; they have redone the old tired seating and placed in wide ibiza style day beds and also fixed the aircon - it is positively lush! The service is as average as before and the food is good to ok.... however for the price paid and the surroundings and location you get this is a definate one to consider!

Summary: Pick it out of the millions of local hotels
