A beautiful hotel I spent a few days in during my recent Spain holiday is the Sol Patos in Benalmadena. Located within a ten minute walk of this beach, this hotel is in a pretty and very upmarket part of Benalmadena and makes a lovely addition to the city skyline. The rooms are fantastic with air conditioning, drinks making facilities (and complimentary coffee and tea when you arrive), satellite TV and direct dial phones as standard. You can also request a safe deposit box for a small fee, although they only have a limited number of these available so it’s worth mentioning the fact that you want one when booking.
