Tarangire Safari Lodge (Arusha, Tanzania)

Even though this lodge was not the best in terms of accommodation and food, it certainly gets big points for the view which is simply stunning! The accommodation is in permanent tents set off the ground, which are basic but very comfortable. Ours (No 10) consisted of a main area with two single beds and a dressing table, at the back of the tent behind a zipped doorway was the bathroom with toilet, shower, somewhere to hang clothes and a wash basin. The shower was one of the best we had with excellent pressure and nice and hot!
