... packed with kids. There is also a small games room with pool, air hockey and a few video games. Next to the indoor pool is a spa offering facials, massages etc but at fairly expensive prices. We only stayed three nights here and travelled into Yosemite park on two days and travelled from San Fransisco on the other day so did not get the full benefit of staying at the hotel. Tenaya Lodge is 2 miles from the south entrance to Yosemite National Park and a great place to stay if you want to be close to the park without staying in it. It is quite expensive at about £75-80 per person per night. The rooms are rusticly decorated and no bigger but perhaps a little more luxurious than the average US hotel room. The main attraction of Tenaya Lodge is the onsite activities, from the lodge you can go on guided walks of the Sierra Nevada Forest, hire mountain bikes, go horse riding etc. There is an indoor pool with jacuzzi and a couple of pool tables round the outside and a nice enough outdoor pool.
