Advantages: In a nice area of earl's court.

Disadvantages: mostly rubbish on the whole

I have been to many hotels in London and this is in the top 5 worst hotels I have been to.

My first impression's with the hotel staff were good, and then I got into the lift which took just under 1 minute to get up 4 floors in the slowest lift in existance!

When I got to my room I felt like I was going to have a claustrophobia attack! The room was tiny and so was the window. I asked foir a new room which looked even more smaller but at least had a large window I could open.

The fan in the room felt like it did nothing! But make an awful whirring noise. The carpet in my room is also creased where it hasnt been laid properly, it also looks like a dirty blue colour.

The cupboard is stuffed with a tray holder, towels, pillow etc so not much room to hang up clothes.

I found the room on direct hotels a discount website. For two nights in this; egg cup excuse for a room. It has cost me £187!

Breakfast is £10 which is standard in hotels, so I always get my own breakfast for 70% cheaper.

Im also annoyed that everytime I leave I have to give my keys in and then produce a green card with my room number to get it back. Its like an insult not being able to trust people to take care of their own key. It isn't fun if there is a que of new hotel guests also when you want your key!

The facillities they have are:
Internet £20 for 24 hours.
Laundry Service
Resturaunt and bar
Shoe cleaning
Photcopying and faxing (which you have to pay to send and recieve faxes)
The food ranges from 2.95-7.50 which is great if you want to eat your typical english food like chicken nuggets, oven roast chicken, scampi, burger etc. I'm not even going to buy food here as I can imagine that is is all ready meals for that price. Im not expecting michellin stars, just a touch of imagination and taste.
Parking, which is restricted and the hotel hold no responsiblity if your car gets trashed.
You can get extra fans and heaters but they are on a first come first serve basis.

I would say it was standard but its worse than that its a dive that is over priced and small. I feel robbed of my money.

One good note, it is in a really great part of Earl's court, and close to the tube station I love all the little shops around here and all the locals seem to be really friendly.

Summary: I won't be coming back

Earl's court seems to have a wealth of these kind of rubbish dives -sounds very like two or three i've tried in the past!
