A great hotel in the center of the strip (The Mirage)

This was probably my favourite hotel in Vegas.

It is a nice managable size when compared to some of the other big hotels. It is also feels very luxurious and has som every nice touches around the grounds. The is a tropical garden in the casino, and the mini zoo with dolphins and tigers is very nice too. At the front of the hotel is a volcano which has an hourly show in the evening. The hotel is also host to the Cirque du Soleil production Love, and there is a lounge bar called Revolution which is named after it.

The whole hotel was very nicely decked out. Our room had a lavish, yet retro feel to it. We did the $20 tip trick and got a nice room with jacuzzi bath and view over the strip and the pool. The bathroom was enormous and well lit.

The casino had a nice ambience and a good sized poker room, offering a range of cash games and tournaments.

We ate at the buffet which benefits from 8 different types of cuisne and has a relaxed but not too much of a canteen type feel to it.

The hotel also benfits from a very central location, and it has a mini train service to the nearby Treasure island.


I would reccomend check ing out the Mirage's site for some very good deals, especially mid week.
