INTRODUCTION I have always dreamed of going to New York so in January 2004 my dream came true when we arranged a stop off in New York for a five night stay, this was the perfect start to our additional three week break in St Pete beach Florida. As everything was arranged through a travel agent the additional flights to New York only cost 55.00 each as we had already bought and paid for the flights to Tampa Bay we only had to pay a fuel surcharge of the 55.00 each. When looking for a hotel in New York this time around, I had a few more factors to consider compared to last time, as I was taking my mum I wanted to make sure that she was in a good location next to the shops and would be able to find her way around easy enough. We stayed at Hotel Thirty Thirty in New York City 6 nights in July 2004. When we first started searching for a hotel in New York we were of course overwhelmed by the number of hotels we could choose from. Our goal was to find a clean, decent hotel located centrally in Manhattan and we wanted to room to be as cheap as possible and we wanted a private bath and a TV. After searching for quite a bit and looking into the option of using priceline.com we ended up on Hotel Thirty Thirty.
