When I arrived at the hotel I was very pleasantly surprised. The staff at reception were very kind, pleasant and friendly and even though I stayed there only one night, I did go in and out of reception all the time and everytime, they had smiles on their faces. My flight had been delayed a bit and the journey was tiring and so when I got off the plane in Toronto, I was very groggy and unhappy but the staff at reception really cheered me up. Last summer I went to Toronto. The plane left London at 10-11am and arrived in Toronto at about 3-4pm Canadian time. When I found out that it would be the late afternoon when I got there, I decided to book a hotel close to the airport so that after the tiring flight I relax. At the top of my list of hotels was the Toronto Airport Marriott. I had seen an advert somewhere about the Marriott hotels and they looked really nice. The hotel is about 5 minutes by road from the airport. It did seem a fair distance from the airport to the hotel which did put me off a bit.
