The Travel Inn Guesthouse in Reykjavik benefits from an excellent location and it is apparently very reasonable (difficult to be very accurate on this, see below for why), but I expect that there are nicer places to stay in the city and more reasonable, and maybe even both. The owner is very chatty and quite a character, but this probably doesn’t make up for poor value for money. Whilst our accommodation did not spoil our holiday, I think that in retrospect, with a bit more research we could have found somewhere a lot more reasonable that would have been a more pleasant place to stay. ~~~How we came to choose this guesthouse~~~ We know from experience of ...
