If it weren't for the fact that housekeeping stole my pocket knife (front desk told me they usually have a drawer full of corkscrews but they were all out, so I couldn't open the wine I'd brought back to the room), the carpets were filthy, the wallpaper moldy, the shower backs up, and I could hear every sound the neighbors made through the the thin walls, the hotel location might make it worth the $50/night ...
