... friendly and efficient manner. We had our room upgraded as well! The walk to the room was quite long (not a surprise given the size of these casinos!) but it was easy to find. The room itself was a good size, clean and comfortable. However, there were mirrors on the ceiling above the bed - welcome to Vegas!! The Tropicana Hotel and casino is located on the South End of the strip and is by the Excalibur Hotel, MGM Grand and New York New York. We arrived around lunchtime and there was a large queue for check in and we were greeted by the noise of hundreds of fruit machines! The queue went down fairly quickly as all check in booths were open and we were dealt with in a friendly and efficient manner. We had our room upgraded as well! The walk to the room was quite long (not a surprise given the size of these casinos!) but it was easy to find. The room itself was a good size, clean and comfortable.
