We just came back from Tryp . Went from 25Sept to 2 Oct. with my wife and almost 2yo dauther. We read many reviews and to be honest didn't know which one to trust. Now we know who is nice and who is just a cheep snob. The truth is if you are nice to hotel stuff they are twice nice to you. If you are rude and want them done things right away keep dreaming, but if you are nice to them things are done in no time. OK maybe I share my opinion now. From the start be prepare have your suitcase checked at the air port, than ride to the hotel is less than 10 min. The lobby is nice open concept. It's really warm. We stayed at Tryp Cayo Coco Apr.27-May04/03. Well, let's put it this way: once you've been to other all inclusive places, you would rate this resort a 3*. The beaches and the water were absolutely gorgeos, better than any other in Cuba (I've been to Guardalavaca and Varadero). The resort is like "NO FRILLS". The rooms are fine, the service was ok, but they lack the extra touch. No bottled water at your discretion, you get one of 1.5l in your room and you must refill it from the bar. The 24hour snack bar sucks! The bartender is also the cook, so if you need to get a bite to eat late at night, you line up forever (in our case 45 min. with 8 people ... Read the complete review
