Advantages: friendly stuff, friendly stuff

Disadvantages: smell by the lobby, smell by the lobby

We just came back from Tryp . Went from 25Sept to 2 Oct. with my wife and almost 2yo dauther. We read many reviews and to be honest didn't know which one to trust. Now we know who is nice and who is just a cheep snob. The truth is if you are nice to hotel stuff they are twice nice to you. If you are rude and want them done things right away keep dreaming, but if you are nice to them things are done in no time. OK maybe I share my opinion now. From the start be prepare have your suitcase checked at the air port, than ride to the hotel is less than 10 min. The lobby is nice open concept. It's really warm. We have been greeted by animation team they were dancing, really nice welcome. Before check in we got some drinks and it was nice because it was really hot day. Quick check in, we asked for room in block 10 or 11 ground level which we got with the smile on face, So we stayed in block 11 which is right by the quiet swimming pool. Room was clean, A/C was working well. We forgot to ask for a baby crib when we checked in, when we came back to reception and ask for one I was told "right away," so after a short walk around the hotel, the crib was in our room. Never seen faster service than here. We were really surprise. The hotel was much nicer than we thought. There is a nice pool for kids in a kid's club and main pool where an animation team is entertaining guests all day playing ball , pool table, and many more water games, aerobic ect. Close to the pool and buffet there are vendors with some gifts if you planing to get some, every day is different one so prices vary. Like every other hotels Tryp has bars, buffets, Ala Carte Restaurants. We usually skip breakfast but omelets in the buffet by the beach were great and service was really fast, now a little tip if you want fast and good service. Once you sit at the table put one$ on the table and they will make sure you won't run out of drinks. Please understand them, some of them earn a 12-20$/month so every dollar counts. It's not like you have to tip them but we had a pleasure to help them a little bit. Thy never ask for anything, no pressure but they really thank you for everything. We usually dine in a buffet at the beach for omelets if we missed breakfast than we wait for bar at the pool had great hamburgers, than a pizza bar had mmmmmmmmmmm pizza, best pizza I have ever had than back for dinner to the buffet for fresh fry fish and pork, sometimes they had two grills outside at the beach so you can dine right there soooooo close to the waves, and now the famous ham and cheese sandwiches well not bad at 2 or 3 am hehehehehehe bar was open 24/7 sweet, I made friends with bartenders, they serv great drinks specially Edgar by swimming pool by block 10 and 11, ask him to make a BOMBA. Ok now a good tip, get friendly with your cleaning lady, leave her a tip every day or some cosmetics, tooth paste T-shirts , boots maybe the day when you go home she let you stay in a room after you check out so you can save paying for late check out, and when you come in you have only one bottle of water in your fridge, but if you leave tips by the empty one she will give you a new one, we had one every day, like I set if you nice to them they are twice nice to you. Ala carte restaurants: we went to international, and Italian. International not bad, I think food was to fancy to quantity but really good, Italian is the same as pizza bar but they have spring tortellini FANTASTIC and onion soup good. Other restaurants don't know but down the beach is a small restaurant, for 15$ you can have best lobster you ever had. When you see a gardener you can ask him to get you a coco nut and bartender will fill it up with some orange ice and Rum mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm gooooood. Tip gardener 1$ as everybody. We really enjoy our vacation and I am sure we will come back to Tryp.

Just a couple more tips:
* bring coffe mugs to keep beer or drinks cold- plastic cups are way to small
* bring 1$ bills for tipping- you get way better and faster service
* bring some cosmetics . T-shirts tooth paste anything you don't need for maids and tip them they will make sure your fridge is stuffed every day
* get some sun screen 30
Hope you like revue, and if you have any questions please feel free to ask now after a great week of eating and drinking I start my diet and that's one thing it's sad HAVE A HAPPY VACATIONS

Welcome to Dooyoo.

A few tips to get you started on the site: Although there's no limit on the amount of reviews you can post it's better to post just three a day then you'll find you get more reads. If you read and rate around the site you'll soon find out what should be included in a review plus you'll get known to other members which will result in them reading things that you post.

It’s always a good idea to write your reviews as though you are writing for someone who has never heard of the product, that way you’ll cover everything. Also it’s best to write your review in Microsoft Word and run a spellchecker before posting onto the site.

You can ask any of the guides for help with any aspect of the site and a list of all the guides can be found here http://www.dooyoo.co.uk/c ommunity/_page/advice_gui des/. They will do everything they can to help with your query.

Lastly you can sign up for your own guest book at http://www.crosswordcheat s.com/tooyoo/ where you can chat with other Dooyoo members.

Above all I hope you enjoy it here and have fun :O) Sara
