... was a problem in the bath initially, but the service repair department sorted it out although It wasn't as hot as it could have been. There was a mini bar in the room and a large tv along with a fax. The pool was on the 27th floor and a real treat as you had even better views from the pool than from the room, this we found to be a wierd sensation hannging on to the side of the pool looking out over New York, They have an excellant gym room. This is the second hotel we have stayed at in New york and We were not dissapointed at all. Our View of the east river and lower Manhatton was breath-taking, when you lay on the bed you were looking straight across to the Empire state building. The room was comfortable and bright and two to three times bigger compared to the size of the room we had at the Best Western President @ 47th and Broadway the first time we stayed in NY.
