Advantages: location, location, location!

Disadvantages: not as luxurious as some might prefer

Located in an ideal location in Midtown Manhattan (W.31st Street between 5th Avenue and Broadway), The Wolcott is a perfect base for a first trip to Manhattan, only blocks away from Macy's, the Empire State Building and the New York Library.
Although not the most luxurious of hotels, the rooms are comfortable and provide what is needed for those on a budget, or those who would prefer to spend their money in Bloomingdales! Each room comes with ensuite bathroom, TV, telephone and air conditioning.
For guests who are feeling fit after a day's shopping, the hotel also has a small but adequate fitness center. For the rest of us, there are vending machines for late-night drinks and snacks, located in the basement!
