If you can bring yourself to shell out the cash, stay in the Loft suite. The decorations are lovely, the room is very spacious and the bathroom is the best of any hotel or Inn i have ever visited. It is entirely marble with heated floors, a huge steam shower with multiple jets for your back, your legs, etc and a Jacuzzi tub large enough to fit my husband, myself and all the bath toys i could ever want. Escape. Dine. Indulge. Relax. Re-connect. You have not experienced a romantic getaway until you have visited The White Barn Inn. Even if you are not in striking distance, it is worth the trip. My husband took me for my 23rd birthday and though we probably won't be able to afford it again for another 5 years, I look back on it as just about the most romantic vacation of our relationship. It even rivals our honeymoon. Located in Kennebuckport, Maine this retreat has the best combinations of large hotel and intimate bed and breakfast.
