Travelodge (Warrington):
... (INCORPORATING YOUTHFUL REMINISCENCE) Ah Warrington; a place I am somewhat familiar with, having spent the first 18 years of my life here. After that, however, a combination of University and career took me away from my roots. And now I find myself back on a week s business trip. I d briefly visited last year for a couple of hours walk around the town centre, so much of the shock of change (or, for the ... Hotel Hilton Olympia (London) ... location in London right next to the Olympia tube station on the district line and the Olympia Exhibition Hall. The hotel is also only a short walk away from High Street Kensington Tube station on both the Circle and District lines. This is one of the many Hilton hotels available in the capital, it is a well used hotel with plenty of tour parties and airline staff stopping here. The hotel is a bit tired looking but given the constant and heavy use I can understand why. The rooms can vary dramatically and it would be best to request one of the newer rooms as the non refurbished ones are very tired looking. I recently stayed there for a weekend visit to London, my roo... Read the full review: A Mixed review of this hotel by iallan |

Travelodge Manchester Airport ... have recently stayed in this hotel and would again. The reason why we choose this hotel in the first place was down to price - all though it is very close to the airport at only £29 for 1 nights stay, you cant argue with that! The hotel seemed to a little bit bigger than most of the travelodges i ve stayed in but i m not sure if that is because it wasnt a multistory like ones i ve stayed in previously. There was a large car park - although this is chargable however i m not sure on the excat price but you are allowed to short stay for up to 30 minutes with no charge. The reception was bright, warm and welcoming with internet access and vending machines for hot, cold ... Read the full review: Budget Airport Hotel by jensibobs |

Thorpeness Hotel & Golf Club (Suffolk) ... boyfriend and I decided we quite fancied squeezing in a last minute break somewhere before Christmas. We didn t want to be too far from London and work commitments meant we couldn t go up on the Friday night, so just needed a place to stay on the Saturday. We picked the Suffolk coast as it was about 90 minutes drive from home and having visited a friend there briefly a few years ago, I really wanted to explore the area further. As we didn t decide where we were going until Tuesday night we found our options quite limited. Although it was November and forecast to be one of the worst weather weekends of the year, most small hotels and Bed & Breakfasts were alread...
