Rhins of Galloway (Cairnryan):
... couple of months ago my husband, myself and two friends decided to take a trip to Belfast for the weekend. The ferry we were travelling on was leaving from Stranraer, in the South West Scotland, at 9 am. We decided to stay in a B & B in the Stranraer area, so that we were bright and early to catch our ferry. This saved us from leaving home in the middle of the night for a three hour drive to Stranraer. I had ... Read the full review: STAY HERE IF YOU ARE CATCHING A FERRY!! by senga53 |

Jurys Inn Southampton ... is a City that people go to and go through, go to because of shopping and things to do in and around the City, but also because of ferries to the Isle of Wight and the numerous cruise companies that are based there, and just to add another layer to the cake the City is also a vibrant student town. Especially around the London Road area where there are a number of Pubs and Bars located and is quite a lively area at the weekend. I went to Southampton to partake in celebrations for a friend s birthday. So unless I was going to be off the magic party juice and drive back to London that night, I had to find a hotel room. After ringing around such places as Trave... Read the full review: It's not in Torquay and it's not Fawlty!!! by T4imbo3107 |

The Derbyshire Hotel (Derby) ... Derbyshire Hotel was until recently called The Renaissance, it was sold by Marriott to a chain called Principal Hayley Group. It is just off Junction 28 of the M1, it has conference facilities so is usually used by business people or companies needing a meeting room. Across the road is a touchbase (a building to hire meeting rooms), a premier inn and the attached Brewers Fayre. So cheaper competition close by (check my hotel reviews to see my thoughts on the premier inn). When staying you can use the heated indoor pool & a small gym for free. I ve never used these so can t comment but it s good to have the facilities available. I ve stayed a few times both be... Read the full review: Not what it used to be by fubaringly |
