The Londonderry Arms Hotel (Antrim):
... a recent visit to Northern Ireland, finely documented in a previous post, I was lucky enough to be shown round by someone born and bred in Larne. It was on her suggestion that we paid a visit to the Londonderry Arms, a 3 star hotel with two restaurants in the charming and quaint harbour village of Carnlough. Carnlough is about 15 minutes drive north of Larne along the very picturesque coastal road otherwise known a... Read the full review: If its Good enough for Winnie, Its good enough for me by funzo |

Glasgow Park Inn (Glasgow) ... Glasgow Park Inn, formerly the Langs Hotel, is situated within a few minutes walk from the main shopping streets of Glasgow, yet still situated within a quiet area. This 4 star hotel has 100 rooms, ranging from £89 per night to £350 per experience night. GLASGOW Glasgow is the biggest city in Scotland, with approximately 560,000 residents. The city is home to two main football clubs (Rangers and Celtic), the second best shopping destination outside London and is home to a number of art galleries and museums, including the recently refurbished Kelvingrove Art Galleries. Add in a vibrant nightlife, and you ll always find something to do in Glasgow. THE LOCATION Lo... Read the full review: Visiting Glasgow? Park Inn here... by dbarcl10 |

Sandringham Hotel (Sandown, Isle of Wight) ... Sandringham Hotel...... The Sandringham Hotel is situated along the Esplanade on Sandown seafront in the Isle of Wight. It is a three star hotel although the feel of it is much more luxurious than that. There are over 200 rooms most of which are en-suite with only about two rooms which do not have a bathroom (but these are considerably cheaper compared with the en-suite rooms). The reception area is found straight off from the beach and this means there are a large number of stairs leading from reception to the main hotel areas. However if disabled people are staying there is an entrance found on the high street meaning that there are no stairs to climb before re... Read the full review: The Sandringham Hotel by newby2 |

The Pottery House B&B (Loch Ness) ... sister and I recently stayed a night at the Pottery House bed and breakfast, and I loved it so much I suggested it be added to the site, just so I could rave about it...So here you go! The Pottery House is a modern bed and breakfast located in the small town of Dores, which runs along Loch Ness in Scotland. As part of a short trip to Scotland, we travelled up a day early to see the Loch and take in a bit of local culture. Booking the room was quick and simple, the Pottery House has a very easy to use website and we booked and paid for our room with no hassles. With the confirmation, we also received directions from Inverness airport, which is where we were heading fr... Read the full review: The Pottery House B&B by chugglebunny |
