Newest Review: ... i wasnt expecting a beautiful hotel upon arrival. However, i was completely wrong! As we walked up the beautiful city street on which the hotel was situated, we were quickly greeted by the concierge of the hotel (he had seen us struggling with bags and walked 50 yards to assist)! He took our bags of us and showed us to reception. The reception process was speedy and efficient, with ... more

I booked this hotel for my girlfriends birthday and we spent one night there. I got a fantastic offer off 0800hotels.co.uk (well worth checking out), which allowed us to stay for just 80 quid including continental breakfast. Obviously, to stay anywhere half decent in london your looking at a figure double this, so although i wanted somewhere respectable, i wasnt expecting a beautiful hotel upon arrival. However, i was completely wrong! We wanted to stay somewhere in central London that was value for money, and found this brilliant hotel for only £69 per night. This was in December 2008, so we didn't expect any decent hotels so close to Christmas to be so cheap. While this hotel is a little out of the way of main attractions it is close to the Tower of London, and to Tower Bridge and easily accessible by bus and tube. The rooms were excellent, with brilliant facilities. Good hospitality tray with the usual tea, coffee and biscuits and good quality bottled water. The bathroom in particular was great, with a massive walk-in shower. The beds were comfortable, and there was a choice of pillows which ...  Read the complete review

I recently went to London to go to a Snow Patrol gig and needed somewhere to stay for 3 nights, I searched the internet for hours alongside my partner before we stumbled across this fantastic hotel through a google search. At £99 a night it was definately cheaper than most we had looked at and seemed to tick all the boxes. When we got there we were almost 3 hours too early for check in, but knowing we had travelled all night they rushed our room and whilst we were having breakfast our room was made up! The room itself is gorgeous, we were in the executive room (good price!) and my partner had ordered a bottle of wine and chocolates on arrival, this is ...  Read the complete review

I stayed in this hotel a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it. We got a last minute deal for a double room for £120 for a Saturday night. Tower Hill and Aldgate are the closest tube stations to the hotel (about 5 minutes walk). We found the hotel very easily and check in was quick and efficient. The hotel is situated in a lovely area right beside London Bridge and there are a few restaurants and bars around. When we checked in we went up to the room straight away and we were very happy with what we found. The rooms are very modern but cosy at the same time. It is obvious that the Apex chain used an excellent interior designer as the hotel looks ...  Read the complete review
