I booked this hotel for my girlfriends birthday and we spent one night there. I got a fantastic offer off 0800hotels.co.uk (well worth checking out), which allowed us to stay for just 80 quid including continental breakfast. Obviously, to stay anywhere half decent in london your looking at a figure double this, so although i wanted somewhere respectable, i wasnt expecting a beautiful hotel upon arrival.
However, i was completely wrong! As we walked up the beautiful city street on which the hotel was situated, we were quickly greeted by the concierge of the hotel (he had seen us struggling with bags and walked 50 yards to assist)! He took our bags of us and showed us to reception.
The reception process was speedy and efficient, with everything being prepaid, and refreshingly, there was no deposit taken to cover for any damage we did to the hotel.
We then made our way to our room, up on the third floor it had good views of the great office buildings around this part of London and was in a good location to get the sun in. The room was amazing, a good space, a massive king size bed and pillow menu, and an amazing bathroom with walk in monsoon shower. The TV was a good size and everything was very modern and up to date. It ouzed a chic and boutique feel.
The next morning we headed down to what can only be described as a mahoosive breakfast! it was amazing! Yoghurts, croissants, fruits, breads. Everything you could imagine, and when we checked the prices, it was worth 15 quid, which means we got the room for about 65!
Check out once again ran smoothly, and we were extremely close to the tube station in order to catch our return train home from LKX.
Summary: If you go to London, you must stay here. End of.
