Even when we first got inside and into the entrance hall I could see it was going to be big, as the entrance area was very large with clean scrubbed wooden floors and whitewashed walls; this wooden and whitewashed theme is continued throughout the house. Balalinny cottages We were recently in Belfast because I wanted to visit The Giant's Causeway. I spotted these cottages on an internet site and decided they were just what we were looking for; close to the major sites we wanted to visit and not too far to travel from Belfast. LOCATION... It took us about an hour to get to the cottages from Belfast so not too long a drive. The cottages are situated on the main road and about half a mile from The Giant's Causeway; we could see the visitors centre from the bedroom window.
