Newest Review: ... It is just off a busy road but there was a huge amount of room outside to park cars. We rang the bell and were greeted by a man who showed us to our room whilst he went to get our keys. He asked what time we would like breakfast, and what we would like, and we choose a good old English breakfast. The room itself was huge, much bigger than I was expecting. The king sized bed was really 2 single beds pushed together, but it was extremely comfortable. There was a large wardrobe, a dressing table, and a table in the corner with a small TV on it. Easter bank holiday weekend and I fancied a trip to the Lake District. It's only a 2.5 hour drive away, but I much prefer staying for the night so the thought of driving back doesn't ruin the day! We have stayed in Keswick before, but this time when I looked online I basically browsed through a list of B&B's and e-mailed a few asking if they even had any rooms available for the Easter weekend, and if they were willing to let us have one for only 1 night, as many have a 'minimum of 2 nights' limit on weekends.
