The Queens Hotel first opened in 1860, where I stayed and I loved it. We travelled to the hotel by train which was very handy as the train station was right opposite so there are excellent travel links. The city centre is also only a 10 minute walk away, which has lots of shops, or there is a free bus if you'd prefer to be lazy. From the outside of the hotel it doesn't look very detailed, just quite large and white. There is private parking which is protected by a gate which has a code changed very regularly; however this costs £10 per night.
