The food - WOW! This is the only way to describe the menus that were available. Especially at the New Year function! On that occasion for an all inclusive 3 day package we arrived the day before New Year's Eve and had afternoon tea on arrival, followed by dinner and this was excellent, with a good choice of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes.

We stayed at this hotel for a New Year Break and what a tremendous experience it was, and certainly excellent value for money. After this stay we had no hesitation in going back and I am glad to say that return visits have been as good. The hotel is situated within easy walking distance of the town centre in Montrose, where there are good shopping facilities. It is also within easy driving distance of the coast and stunning scenery, including castles, small coves and beautiful countryside.
