My mum, sister and her daughter booked into this hotel to visit Axbridge nearby where Mum had her honeymoon some 54 years ago. At the time of booking we had asked if there were twin rooms on the ground floor so Mum wouldn't have to negotiate stairs and was told there were. We duly booked 2 twin rooms. What a disappointment. I shared with my 82 year old Mum in a tiny room with 2 two foot six beds squashed together. No space to walk around. No seat in front of a small mirror - couldn't open the drawers (not enough room). I stayed in this hotel when I went down to Cheddar Gorge to do a days worth of training. I travel all over the UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man providing IT support training on Microsoft Office Packages so often spend a couple of nights a week in hotels. I explained about the Best Western brand in my previous review about the Ullesthorpe Court Hotel and Golf Course in Leicestershire but will quickly recap on this for you.
