For my first trip to Edinburgh a couple of weeks ago, I was booked in to the Bonham by my company. I'd never been to Edinburgh before and was only staying one night - but boy, was it worth it. The Bonham used to be a student hall of residence, but there's nothing studenty about it now. Converted from those huge stone-fronted houses that seem to give Edinburgh such an imposing air, the Bonham welcomes you from the moment you walk through the wood and glass door.
