I have stayed at the Bristol Marriott Royal Hotel twice and had an excellent time both times. The hotel is a superb location, close to the bars and restaurants. It is handy being near restaurants if you don't want to pay the hotel prices. Saying that if you want to treat yourself the restaurant are very nice and offer excellent food and wine. The leisure facilities are top draw with the swimming pool being the highlight. The rooms are well decorated and very spacious and clean. The Royal Marriott Bristol My hubby and I were lucky enough to be able to leave our 3 children with my Mum and escape for two nights away on our own. We didn't want to spend hours in the car so we opted to go to Bristol which is about 50 minutes drive from our home.
